Baltimore Orioles Schedule

The Baltimore Orioles began competing in Major League Baseball in 1954. Since their inaugural season, the Orioles have become known as one of the best franchises in all of sports. Their class, determination, and great players have made this possible. Although they have not had as much success as some other teams in the league, the Orioles have had their share of good times.

The Orioles played their home games at Memorial Stadium from 1951 to 1991. In 1992, the team moved to Oriole Park at Camden Yards, and this is where they still play home games. Camden Yards is known across the country for being one of the nicest parks in the game. Not only is it spacious enough for fans to enjoy, but the design and atmosphere also make it a top draw.

The Orioles have won three World Series Titles; 1966, 1970, and 1983. They have also won several American League Pennants; 1966, 1969, 1970, 1971, 1979, and 1983. As you can see, the Orioles have a long history of success. Even though they have been struggling as of late, it is safe to say that the city of Baltimore is still behind the team. It is only a matter of time until they break through, and make their way back to the playoffs.

The Baltimore Orioles have been playing in the league for more than 50 years. It is safe to say that many more good years are lying ahead.

Seattle Mariners Schedule

The Seattle Mariners are a Major League Baseball team that competes in the National League West Division. The franchise is one of the newer ones in the league, and has only been around since 1977. But although the Mariners do not have near the tradition as some other teams, they have done quite well in the past 30 years or so. This is evident by the amount of games that they have won as well as the fan base that has rallied around them for many years.

The Mariners play their home games at Safeco Field. This venue is modern, and has quite a bit to offer fans in the way of a great time. And of course, both the Mariners and visiting teams love to play in this park. The atmosphere is outstanding to say the least!

Although the Mariners have never won the World Series, they have had quite a bit of success. They have managed to win three American League West Division Titles; they came in the years of 1995, 1997, and 2001. They also made their way into the playoffs in 2000 thanks to a wild card berth.

There have been quite a few players to don the Mariners uniform. Some of the more popular ones include Alvin Davis, Edgar Martinez, Jay Buhner, and many more. As you can see, even though the franchise is young they have signed some great players.

All in all, the Seattle Mariners are working harder than ever before to make their way back to the playoffs. It is only a matter of time until they win their first World Series Title.
