Boston Red Sox Schedule

The Boston Red Sox are one of the oldest franchises in all of professional sports. They began to compete in Major League Baseball in 1901. In fact, under the name the Boston Americans they won the first ever World Series in 1903. So as you can see, the Red Sox are one franchise that knows how to succeed year in and year out.

To go along with the long history of the franchise, the Red Sox also play in the oldest stadium in Major League Baseball. Fenway Park opened before the 1912 season, and has been going strong ever since. Even though it is not nearly as modern as the majority of the stadiums in the league, there is no sign that the team is looking to make a change. This is a good thing for the league because Fenway Park has become a historical landmark of sorts.

Over the years, the Red Sox have won several World Series Titles. They years include 1903, 1912, 1915, 1916, 1918, and 2004. The drought between 1918 and 2004 was one that Red Sox fans were having a hard time dealing with. Luckily, they finally got their wish in 2004 after a masterful season. The Red Sox have also won many American League Pennants. Years include 1903, 1912, 1915, 1916, 1918, 1946, 1967, 1975, 1986, and 2004.

Many great players have worn the Red Sox jersey over the years. Two of the best include Babe Ruth before being sold to the New York Yankees, and of course, Ted Williams.

The Red Sox will be in Boston forever, and it is safe to say that the league and fans would not want it any other way!

Tampa Bay Devil Rays Tickets
Tampa Bay Devil Rays Schedule

The Tampa Bay Devil Rays are a Major League Baseball team that competes in the American League East Division. The Devil Rays were established in 1998, and this makes them one of the newer teams in the league. But even though the franchise has not been around for a long time, they have won quite a few games over the years. Additionally, they have done a great job in building a large fan base all over the country.

The Devil Rays play their home games at Tropicana Field. This venue has been the home of the Devil Rays since they began play, and will probably be for many years to come. Tropicana Field offers a nice experience for fans, and players seem to have a good time there as well.

Although the Devil Rays have won quite a few regular season games, they have yet to make the playoffs. They are in a very competitive division, and have found it tough to beat out the competition. But with that being said, the franchise is more devoted than ever before when it comes to breaking through this barrier and making it to the playoffs.

The team has only been around for about 10 years, but they have had some great players. Perhaps the most well known is third baseman Wade Boggs.

The Tampa Bay Devil Rays are working hard to field a team that is capable of challenging for an American League East Division Title. It is just a matter of time until they reach this goal.
