Cleveland Indians Information:
The Cleveland Indians are a Major League Baseball team that competes in the American League Central Division. Since joining the league in 1900, the Indians have become known as one of the top franchises. Although they have not won nearly as many games as some teams, the Indians are always competitive. And of course, you can expect them to have a large following of fans regardless of where they may be playing.
The Indians play their home games at Jacobs Field. They have done so since 1994, and this will be the case for many more years to come. After all, Jacobs Field is widely regarded as one of the nicest stadiums in the entire league. This venue is the third that the Indians have played in over the course of their existence.
The Indians have won two World Series Titles; they came in 1920 and 1948. In addition to these titles, the Indians have also won five American League Pennants in the years of 1920, 1948, 1954, 1995, and 1997.
As far as great players are concerned, the Indians have had quite a few. Some of the best include Bob Feller, Bob Lemon, Mel Harder, Earl Averill, and Lou Boudreau among many others.
The Cleveland Indians have been a competitive Major League Baseball team for more than 100 years. It is safe to say that the Indians will be calling Cleveland home for hundreds of more years to come.
