The Cincinnati Reds compete in the National League Central Division of Major League Baseball. The Reds franchise was established in 1869, which makes it one of the oldest in all of professional sports. With so many years under of playing, it is easy to see why the Reds have such a large following. Although the Reds have not been as successful as some teams, they have had their share of good times over the years.

The Reds currently play their home games at Great American Ball Park; one of the newer stadiums in the league. This is the ninth stadium that they have played at, and it is safe to say that they will be calling Great American Ball Park home for many years to come.

There have been quite a few top notch players to pass through the Reds organization over the years. Just a few of the more famous ones include Pete Rose, Frank Robinson, Joe Morgan, Johnny Bench, Sparky Anderson (manager), and many more.

The Reds have five World Series Titles to their name. These titles came in 1919, 1940, 1975, 1976, and 1990. Additionally, the Reds also won National League Pennants in 1919, 1939, 1940, 1961, 1970, 1972, 1975, 1976, and 1990.

For many years, the Cincinnati Reds have been synonymous with the game of baseball. As far as the greatest franchises of all time are concerned, there is no denying the fact that the Reds should be at the top of this list. Not only have they won quite a few games over the years, but they always operate with class.

Great American Ball Park is located in Cincinnati, Ohio, and is one of the newest stadiums in the country. This venue opened in 2003 after a three year construction project that cost approximately $290 million. With so much money going into Great American Ball Park it is easy to see why many feel that it is one of the best stadiums in the entire country. Many fans and local residents refer to Great American Ball Park as GABP for short.

At this time the Cincinnati Reds of the MLB is the only team to occupy Great American Ball Park on a regular basis. They play all of their home games at this park, and have been doing so since March 31, 2003. It is safe to say that Great American Ball Park will be the home of the Reds for many years to come. With so many features and amenities there is no chance that the fans, the city, or the organization will get tired of what it has to offer.

The capacity of Great American Ball Park is only 42,059 making it one of the smaller parks in the league. But even though Great American Ball Park cannot hold as many fans as some other parks, when the Reds start to score runs the fans make as much noise as any other venue in the country.

In addition to regularly scheduled baseball games, many other events have also taken place at Great American Ball Park. Most notably, President George Bush held a rally at this venue in October of 2004.
