The San Francisco Giants are a Major League Baseball team that competes in the National League West Division. The Giants franchise was established in 1883, and has called San Francisco home since 1958. Before moving to San Francisco, the Giants were based in New York. But no matter where the franchise is located, they have always had great players and a large fan base.
The Giants play their home games at AT&T Park, and have done so since 2000. In the past, this venue was also referred to as Pacific Bell Park and SBC Park. No matter what you call this stadium, it is one of the most enjoyable in the league. It offers modern amenities and a great atmosphere for fans.
Over the years, the Giants have won the World Series five times. These titles came in 1905, 1921, 1922, 1933, and 1954. So as you can see, the Giants have yet to win the Fall Classic when based in the city of San Francisco.
Some great players have competed for the Giants in the past. They include Christy Mathewson, Bill Terry, Mel Ott, Willie Mays, Juan Marichal, Gaylord Perry, Willie McCovey, Barry Bonds, and many more.
As you can see, the Giants have a rich history. They have won quite a few games over the years, and have had many great players on these teams. It is safe to say that this tradition is going to continue for many years to come.

AT&T Park is located in San Francisco, California, and has been known as a couple of other names since opening its doors in 2000. The other names include Pacific Bell Park and SBC Park. But no matter what you call this venue, it is safe to say that it is one of the nicest in the entire country. Not only does it offer a good fan experience, but it is also one of the more modern venues. This makes for a great atmosphere each and every time an event stops by AT&T Park.
The San Francisco Giants of the MLB is the only team that plays its home games at AT&T Park. The San Francisco Demons of the XFL also played at AT&T Park in 2001, but the league has since folded. Additionally, the Emerald Bowl of college football is played at AT&T Park each year.
The capacity of AT&T Park is 41,503. For sold out events, this venue can also accommodate approximately 1,500 seating room only occupants. While this is not usually necessary, there are some events that command a lot of attention. AT&T Park offers 68 luxury suites and 5,200 club level seats.
Over the years AT&T Park has had the pleasure of hosting many great events. For instance, in 2004 Barry Bonds hit his 700th home run at this park. And in 2007 it is going to host the MLB All Star Game.
Overall, AT&T Park has a lot to offer. Each year it hosts many events, and the majority of them draw a nice sized crowd. Anybody who has the chance to see a baseball game or any other event at AT&T Park should take advantage.
