Toronto Blue Jays Information:
The Toronto Blue Jays are a Major League Baseball team that competes in the American League East Division. They were established in 1977 which makes them one of the newer teams in the league. But despite the fact that they have not been around as long as some franchises, the Blue Jays have had a good deal of success on the field. They are not as well known as some teams, but when it comes to on the field performance they do their best year in and year out.
The Blue Jays play their home games at the Rogers Centre. This venue opened in 1989, and has a lot to offer both teams and fans. Not only is it modern, but it offers great convenience as well.
Many people are not aware of the fact that the Blue Jays won back to back World Series Titles in 1992 and 1993. These were the two best seasons in franchise history, and the ones that most fans remember above and beyond the rest of them. The Blue Jays have also won their division on five occasions.
Some of the best players to wear a Blue Jays uniform include Paul Molitor, Dave Winfield, and Phil Niekro among many others.
As you can see, as the only Canadian team in the league the Toronto Blue Jays have done a great job. They have a couple of World Series Titles, and are hoping for more in the near future.
